Prior knowledge required
• Basic ICT-skills such as familiarity with Windows XP
• How to use a Web browser, e.g. Internet Explorer
• How to locate and search web-based repositories
• How to use an Image editor, e.g. Paint
Workshop objectives
This half-day workshop consists of a hands-on session in which participants
learn how to customize and design materials specifically for use on Interactive
Whiteboards. Although the principles presented are generic and therefore IWB
brand-independent, Notebook, the SMARTboard software, will be used to implement
ideas.
Participants will –individually or collaboratively- explore relevant
repositories, adapt existing materials or design original content for
participants’ personal teaching practices.
During the presentation of first ideas and concept products suggestions for
relevant assessment criteria will be discussed.
